Hip, Hippo-ray!!
I've been asking Carson for a few weeks to be thinking about what kind of cake he wanted for his birthday, and every time he responded, "a green hippo." I tried to bring up other suggestions that I thought would be more relevant, but he stuck to his cute, little guns. So here is the Green Hippo Cake. It was really simple and took no more than 1 1/2 hours to decorate. He was so excited about it!

Baby Keith
My friend, Keri, is due really soon and we had a shower for her last night. She has 2 boys and 1 girl at home and a sweet little boy on the way. This is the cake I came up with for her shower. The bear on top is gum paste, all the other covering and embellishments are mm fondant. The beads are Sixlets and Whoppers.
Tea for 2!

Bailey's Cake
My sweet niece Bailey has a ward talent show coming up so she asked me to help her make a cake. You know me, I was thrilled! She came up with the design and the colors and did at least 85% of the work herself. She did a great job with her natural skills. She has also agreed to me my apprentice for the next few cakes I have coming up, Yay!!

Colts Cake
Die Hard Fan Cake.
Our Cake.
For the Super Bowl I had a small party and so I thought it would be fun to serve a cake. We are not true blue Colts fans, but we are certainly not Saints fans, so I decided to make a Colts cake. Our friends are die hard fans so I also made them one to serve at their party. All the decor on the cake is made from fondant.
